Quality control should be visible before production starts, not just at the final inspection.
Joysee’s QC process covers raw materials, lens checks, frame fit, assembly, cosmetics, packaging, and shipment review so buyers can see how the project is controlled from start to finish. For a premium project example, see our anonymous luxury gift eyewear project case study.
Buyer Worries
Will QC slow my order down?
Good QC usually saves time rather than adding delay. Catching a frame issue, lens issue, or packaging mistake earlier is much faster than fixing the same problem after production or shipment.
What if the sample looks fine but the bulk order turns out different?
That is why checkpoints matter before mass production. A clear sample approval step, plus material and assembly checks during production, helps reduce surprise differences between the sample and the final batch.
Do packaging mistakes really matter if the product itself is okay?
Yes. Packaging and shipment review protect the final customer experience, and they also help prevent avoidable problems like mixed cartons, wrong inserts, or missing brand details.
What to Agree in a Sunglasses QC Plan
A useful QC plan connects the selected model, approved sample and agreed specification. Use the questions below to discuss checkpoints and records with your supplier before an order moves forward.
| Stage | What to agree | Record to request |
|---|---|---|
| Before production | Which sample and specification revision will be the reference? Confirm dimensions, frame and lens configuration, finish, branding and packaging. List unresolved changes. | A dated reference list, revision number and approval status for each open item. |
| Materials and components | Which characteristics need to match the agreed specification? Identify any product-specific documents or checks needed for the chosen configuration. | The relevant component or model identification and the agreed check record. |
| During production | Which checks address assembly, fit, appearance and branding? Agree how a mismatch is recorded, reviewed and checked again after correction. | Observations tied to the model or batch, the action taken and the recheck result. |
| Finished goods and packing | Confirm the agreed product checks, quantities, color allocation, accessories, labels and carton markings. Ask who reviews unresolved issues before shipment. | A finished-goods and packing record with the reviewed specification, findings and final status. |
Keep Sample Approval and Inspection Connected
Record the approved version and each requested change in one place. If a frame, lens, logo or package changes after approval, ask which checks and documents need to be reviewed again. Use the sample approval checklist to organize that discussion.
Ask What Each Record Actually Covers
Check that a photo, inspection record or report can be linked to the relevant model, configuration and review stage. Ask for clarification when its scope is unclear. Review the certification and document scope guide alongside any product-specific documentation requirements.
